This inventory control system is a full-featured and powerful management system that tracks parts (replacement/repair, etc.), product (cigarettes, etc.), and prizes (redemption) in one system. Product types can be kept separate by means of department numbers. The Full-Line Vending Module contains an inventory system with unique features for full-line operators.
Part/Product/Prize Inventory Control
For each part number, the system tracks:
- On-hand & on-order quantities, description, and bin location.
- Cost and three selling price levels. Markup based on fixed or variable percentages.
- Up to six suppliers per part number, stores each supplier's part number and price.
- Two years' sales and usage history by month.
- Set minimum and maximum levels, system calculates best stocking levels based on usage. Prints suggested orders.
- Ticket values are automatically computed for redemption items. Inventory is automatically adjusted when products are dispensed through the FEC system.
Barcode reading capabilities are fully integrated with the system. Multiple warehouses are supported. Inventory maintained on trucks or at locations can also be tracked.
The order management system tracks orders by supplier, purchase order number, date, and item number. Both stocked and non-stocked part orders (special orders) can be maintained. Press one button to receipt purchase orders, back order specific items, release back orders, or cancel orders.
All inventory transactions can be tracked: sales, returns, on-hand quantity adjustments, lost sales, transfers between warehouses, etc.
Complete or partial physical inventories are supported, and system-generated count sheets can be created. A variety of inventory reports are available: part number reference lists, price reference lists, suggested order reports, phase-out/overstock reports, inventory aging reports, demand reports, extended inventory value reports, purchase orders, purchase order lists, special orders lists, and more.
